We have generated close relationships with a variety of capital sources ranging from high net worth individuals to institutional partners. UCS matches particular investment opportunities with specific capital partners to optimize the investment synergies and yields to those partners.
The acquisition team's principal objectives are to preserve capital, produce attractive cash-on-cash yields, and create long-term value for its partners. We believe that significant opportunities exist to achieve superior returns through value-add apartment investments, which provide higher risk-adjusted returns, lower market volatility, attractive financing, more predictable demand, and a stable cash flow. The team's direct access to banks and workout groups allows its investors to tap into favorably priced distressed assets. Also, the goal of specifically targeting mid-size opportunities reduces competition from institutional competition.
